give the classification of fibers in the form of a flow chart.
2. Write in detail the manufacturing process and properties of wool.
UNIT-II
3. Write in detail the manufacturing process of Flax. What is the difference between Natural
and Manmade fibers?
4. Discuss in detail the properties and end-uses of Polyester and Acetate fiber.
UNIT-III
5. Discuss the classification of yarn in detail.
6. What is yarn numbering system? Explain Indirect system of yarn numbering in detail?
UNIT-IV
7. Define weaving. Write short notes on the following:
a) Plain weave
b) Twill weave
c) Satin weave
8. Write in detail about non-woven fabrics and its types.
