1. A 2-month old male child was brought to the hospital since the mother noticed the left
scrotum of the boy was empty. On examination it was noticed that the right testis was
in the scrotum. A swelling of 1.5 cm diameter was noted in the left inguinal region. On
ultrasound examination it was confirmed that the left testis was in inguinal canal.
Mention any two conditions resulting in empty scrotum in newborn.
