INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES :
1. Please read the question paper carefully and refer the enclosed site plan. At the end of the
first session of 4 hours, you are required to submit preliminary sketch design along with the
concept of your proposal.
2. The preliminary submission will not be returned to you, therefore, retain the copy of plans
for your reference.
3. No major deviation from original concept is permitted in the final submission.
4. Students are free to assume the missing data, if any.

You are required to design ?A SMALL HOUSING Project? on an area of approximately
5.0 acres as per the following requirements. The design should be such that it respects the
location and climatic context of place and at the same time conforms to all latest standards and
requirements of a housing scheme.
The REQUIREMENTS are :-
1 BHK APARTMENTS 60 SQ MTS 25% of total number
2BHK APARTMENTS 100 SQ. MTS 50% of total number
3BHK APARTMENTS 140 SQ MTS 25% of total number
Community space i.e. Club, Gym, swimming pool etc. 100 sq mts
The Design must include provision for differently enabled and should encourage pedestrian
movement within the complex.
Notes: Max. Permissible ground coverage is 35% of site area.
Maximum FAR allowed is 1.8.
Max. permissible height is 30 mts
Parking (covered and uncovered): 1.5 ECS
