Notification : Andhra Pradesh VRO & VRA Posts Recruitment Postponed to February 12.
The government will issue a supplementary notification for the recruitment of Village Revenue Officers and Village Revenue Assistants on January 9 to allow candidates to submit their applications in view of the government’s latest decision to relax the eligibility age limit by two years.
Accordingly, the VRO and VAO recruitment examination scheduled for January 30 has been postponed to February 12. Exam results will be announced on February 29 and appointment letters issued on March 8. The candidates who became eligible after the age relaxation can download applications from the website till 5 p.m. on January 17 and submit the forms by January 18. Hall tickets could be downloaded from January 27 to February 6.
Revenue Minister N. Raghuveera Reddy who held a video conference with the District Collectors and Joint Collectors here on Wednesday to review the arrangements for the ‘Revenue Sadassus’ to be held from January 18 to March 17, announced the details of the supplementary notification.
In a departure from the practice of holding revenue sadassus at the mandal headquarters or the revenue divisions, this time the sadassus will be held at every hamlet in the Gram Panchayat to enable every poor person represent his land related grievances. A budget of Rs.10 lakh will be provided to each district for the sadassus.
