Q.2 (a) Find a root of x3 — x2+ 10x + 7 = 0, correct up to three decimal places between -2 and -1 by the Newton-Raphson method.

(b) Find all roots of the equation x3 — 2x2 — 5x + 6 = 0 by Graeffe’s method, squaring thrice.

(b) Using bisection method, find an approximate root of the equation sinx = 1/x, that lies between x = 1 and x = 1.5. Carry out computations up to the 7th stage.
