PART B
3 A 20-year-old male was brought to hospital in a state of altered consciousness. No proper
history was available. Examination and investigations revealed a scalp contusion, skull
fracture and a small extra duralhaemorrhage. Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) was12 on
admission. He was observed and managed conservatively in the neurosurgical unit and
discharged on the third day.
