6. What is retrofitting? Explain the various ways by which retrofitting of a damaged
structure can be achieved.

7. Explain the role of various agencies in disaster management.
8. Discuss in detail the causes and impact of global warming. What should be done to
reduce it?
9. ?Effective techniques of community participation go a long way in disaster management?.
Discuss this statement in general and then specific to the smog condition prevalent in
