2. What are the various building typologies developed during Egyptian civilization? Explain
any three of them in detail with suitable examples.
3. What are the architectural characteristic features of Greek period? Explain the different
types of orders developed in this period with neat sketches.
UNIT-II
4. Enlist the different types of building typology developed during Indus valley civilization.
Explain the planning principles of Indus valley civilization in context of housing and its
services.
5. Explain the development process of evolution of Stupa in detail with neat sketches.
6. What are the planning principles of vedic architecture? Explain its different building
typology and architectural characteristic features with neat sketches.
7. What are the architectural characteristic features of Gupta period? Explain the building
typology developed in this period with neat sketches.
8. Write the architectural features of the followings with neat sketches :
a) Rock cut temple at Badami
b) Durga temple at Aihole.
