UNIT-I
1. Explain with sketches the basic features of Byzantine churches by taking relevant
examples.
2. Describe key features of Gothic architecture. Draw sketches to highlight your answer.
3. Write a note on early Christian architecture. Support your answer with an example of any
key building of this period.

UNIT-II
4. Describe the architectural features of Dilwara temple at Mount Abu.
5. Kandriya Mahadeo temple, Khajuraho is an important example of provincial Indo-Aryan
architecture. Elaborate.
6. Discuss the special features of Meenakshi temple, Madurai.
7. Draw the plan and elevation a typical Orissan temple and label its parts.
8. Write notes on :
a) Gopurams in Dravidian temples.
b) Evolution of Shikhara
